Dinosaurs & Cherry Stems synopsis

Her journey, out of the Stone Age hits freaky, hilarious turbulence when she joins an Internet dating service. The scammers and weirdos she meets in cyberspace make Cindy want to crawl back in her cave, until she receives an accidental email from Jay DeMatteo.

Jay has the dating blues too, but after meeting Cindy, reconsiders his options. Now it's up to him to convince her it's never too late to pursue a meaningful relationship, even when a couple is struggling with midlife adolescence.

Let's begin with the @SusanRicci #TWITTER'VIEW #Author of #Humorous #Romance #Dinosaurs&CherryStems

Dragonheart: Welcome Susan. How are you this evening?

Susan: I'm fine, Deb, I appreciate you having me here tonight! This is a fantastic ride, and thanks so much for having me on!

Dragonheart: My pleasure! Tell us about your current project.

Susan: Dinosaurs & Cherry Stems, my humorous romance pubbed in late 2012, and it is currently in first place on a Listobia list on GR!

Dragonheart: What sparked the idea for this project?

Susan: I was writing an article about the woes of Internet dating, which became a journal after I found myself in a relationship.

Dragonheart: Interesting! How do you choose your book covers?

Susan: An author bud recommended a gal who did a cover for her, so I contacted her, cried help, and she blew my mind with a fab idea.

Dragonheart: Music seems to influence a lot of authors, what music influences you?

Susan: I like oldies/rock classics, but I don't listen to music while I write, I'm too open to distractions. Need ear plugs, actually.

Dragonheart: How do you handle "writers block"?

Susan: I go write a review for an author I've recently read (if I like it), or read a book whose author inspires me. It returns!

Dragonheart: Who has been your greatest influence?

Susan: My mother. She was proud of my newspaper articles, always encouraged me. She sent my neighborhood newspaper to Kennedy. I was 10.

Dragonheart: That's awesome! Do you or have you ever had a muse?

Susan: Yes, and it's a sneaky bugger, always trying to escape or take a vacation. I recently put it on a leash, so it's grounded. :)

Dragonheart: HA HA HA! What one subject is TABOO in your writing?

Susan: Not sure what you mean by "TABOO". I haven't the ability to write erotica, although I'm a sexual person. I leave it to others.

Dragonheart: TABOO..The one thing you won't write about.

Susan: Won't write erotica, (can't), murdering a child, (too ugly), child porn, (creepy), but I'm willing to try almost anything else.

Dragonheart: Understandable! What do you do when you aren't writing?

Susan: LOVE to read, LOVE to travel with hubby, spending time with the grand kids is a given, and I love to dance when the op arises!

Dragonheart: Fun stuff! If there was a book you wish you'd written, which would it be?

Susan: Gone With The Wind. No question. Read it when I was 12. Saw the movie a gzillion times, wore out about a dozen books. My influence.

Dragonheart: I love Gone With The Wind too! What is your greatest passion?

Susan: Creativity. Entertaining another soul via my creativity. The sole reason why I write. A kind word about my prose humbles me.

Dragonheart: What one word best describes you?

Susan: Voracious

Dragonheart: What do you do to relax?

Susan: I'm pretty boring. I read, walk Emma the lab, give hubby a massage. Have a spritzer. Watch a storm or the sunset. Swim...

Dragonheart: Not boring! Is there one, current, TV show that is "can't miss" with you?

Susan: I have a big time tie here Dexter and Bones. (plus Mike & Molly and Two and a Half Men :D

Dragonheart: I love Mike & Molly. Money is not object, where do you go?

Susan: I'd ship our families and our new Winnebago to Oahu and live on a white sandy beach till the end of my days on Earth.

Dragonheart: Beautiful! Tell us the first two books on your TBR list.

Susan: No More Wasted Tears by Bev Preston, and the new Daniel Silva book, which isn't out yet! I've read everything he's ever done.

Dragonheart: How do you choose character names?

Susan: In Heart Marks The Spot, 2/3 of the stories were made up names, meant to amuse. Like Feelda Peaches Aldaway. Others are random.

Dragonheart: Tell us one thing we may not know about you.

Susan: This is hurtful...I have some OCD. Yep, like Monk, the TV character--not as bad though. Don't use other's pens. Wet-wipes, yep!

Dragonheart: I completely understand that. What do you want to  be when you grow up?

Susan: What society deems is successful and normal. ;)

Dragonheart: Final question. Of the 7 Deadly Sins, which one have you committed recently?

Susan: Envy. Up until I found out my book was numer 1 on a Listopia list, Envy. Terrible isn't it? Thanks for letting me ramble, Deb.

Dragonheart: Thank you for allowing me to do this Susan. I appreciate your time. It's been an honor!

Susan: Debby, the honor is mine. Thanks for your patience and your time. It's much appreciated! xo

BURIED Synopsis

Twenty years ago, a small private school bus of children and their driver vanished on the way home from touring the state capital building of Oregon. No clues were ever found. Two years later, a boy near death, Chris Jacobs, walked out of the Cascade Forest as the soul survivor. Brain and physical trauma left him unable to help police find the other children and the investigation went cold. Today, multiple gravesites of children have been uncovered at an abandoned dairy farm and investigators determine they are the remains of the vanished children from the bus.

Investigative reporter Michael Brody anxiously awaits news of his missing brother's body. All the lost children's remains, are recovered, except for Michael's brother. Desperate for answers, Michael reaches out to Chris Jacobs to see if Chris has recovered any memory to create leads for the investigation. Unable to locate Chris, Michael goes to Chris's only relative, his younger sister Jaime. Attraction is instantaneous between Michael and Jaime. But so is utter frustration with each other's attitude and opposing positions on Chris's whereabouts and his inability to help the police. Michael and Jaime hunt for Chris, racing against a tattooed stranger who wants to find Chris and silence him permanently this time.

Dragonheart: Welcome Kendra, How are you this evening?

Kendra: Great! I'm excited to do this interview!

Dragonheart: As am I. Tell us, please, about your current project.

Kendra: #BURIED is my third romantic suspense novel in the Bones Secrets series. I love to write about forensics and mix it with romance.

Dragonheart: What sparked the idea for this project?

Kendra: The idea of a renegade bus driver that vanished with a load of children. What happened to them? Why did he do it?

Dragonheart: I love that! When can we expect to see this project?

Kendra: #BURIED comes out tomorrow. YAY! I loved writing this book and giving my readers more about Michael Brody.

Dragonheart: YAY! I want a Michael Brody! Music seems to influence a lot of writers, what music influences your writing?

Kendra: I can't listen to music when I write. I need absolute silence, or else I sing along and that doesn't mesh well with typing.

Dragonheart: :-) How do you handle "writer's block"?

Kendra: Stress, moan, eat. Reading other RS helps writer's block. Or I'll brainstorm on paper, writing ideas over and over.

Dragonheart: Interesting way to handle it. Who has been your greatest influence?

Kendra: I'm influenced by Allison Brennan, Kathy Reichs, Lee Child, Harlen Coben, Karen Rose, Lisa Gardner and Stephen King.

Dragonheart: Awesome #authors. Do you have or have you ever had a muse?

Kendra: Chocolate is my muse. I couldn't write without her.

Dragonheart: Yes, I like her too! What one subject is TABOO in your writing?

Kendra: My serial killer killing animals brought some unhappy emails with HIDDEN. I won't include that again.

Dragonheart: I admit, I don't like that either. What do you do when you aren't writing?

Kendra: I read a lot. That is pure relaxation for me. I also have three kids which keep me busy.

Dragonheart: 3 kids! Wow! If there was a book you wish you'd written, which would it be?

Kendra: Oh, wow. Tough question, a book I wish I'd written? Probably OUTLANDER by Diana Gabaldon. Pure ecstasy to read.

Dragonheart: Great choice! What is your greatest passion?

Kendra: My greatest passion is my family. I'm happiest when everything is in sync with them.

Dragonheart: What one word best describes you?

Kendra: Procrastinator

Dragonheart: Awesome. What do you do to relax?

Kendra: Give me a fat book, a cup of coffee and a quiet house. With three kids, quiet is essential. Hawaii works, too.

Dragonheart: Is there one, current tv show, that is "can't miss" for you?

Kendra: I love Project Runway, #Chopped and House Hunters. I don't watch any network TV. It's all reality shows like these.

Dragonheart: I love #Chopped too. Money is no object, where do you go?

Kendra: I'd love to travel to the UK, France, Italy and Spain. But with good friends who know where to go. Not a tour.

Dragonheart: Sounds amazing. Tell us, please, the first two books on your TBR list.

Kendra: I'm reading BEAUTIFUL LIES by Lisa Unger and YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW by Lisa Jackson is next.

Dragonheart: Lisa Jackson is one of my faves. How do you choose character names?

Kendra: I think hard on my hero/heroine names. But others I often grab the closest book or piece of mail to pull a name from.

Dragonheart: Tell us one thing we may not know about you.

Kendra: I really hate vegetables. Seriously. I eat potatoes and corn on the cob. I don't think those qualify as vegetables.

Dragonheart: Ha! What do you want to be when you grow up?

Kendra: Lol. I want to be irresponsible. I'm tired of saving money, driving carefully and applying sunscreen.

Dragonheart: I understand completely. Final question. Of the 7 Deadly Sins, which one have you committed most recently?

Kendra: Just one deadly sin? I got back from Vegas last night. I'll say gluttony.

Dragonheart: Thank you so much for taking time from your busy schedule to be here with me tonight Kendra! It's been a pleasure!

Kendra: Thank you! This was fun.

WISHBONE Synopsis:

At the age of nine, growing up in the French countryside, Julien Grenier witnessed the brutal murder of his grandfather. Now at forty-five, he continues to be plagued by horrific nightmares and reenactments of that tragic event.

Living a successful though austere lifestyle on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, Julien has recreated himself, building emotional walls that even his young wife cannot penetrate.

Though somewhat moody, Julien is a good man with a heart of gold and a great sense of loyalty and responsibility; enabling his wife Rachael, to turn a blind eye to his tightly-kept secrets.

Rachael is thirty-two years old; an art dealer and playful free spirit, but after a home invasion assault leaves her emotionally unstable and destroys their care-free and content world, they relocate to a safer environment with the hope of a fresh start.

Kings Hollow is a quaint town, nestled in the serene mountains of upstate New York. At first, their new home appears to be the miracle they prayed for, until a traditional children's game begins to destroy their bliss; Rachael is no longer herself and Julien is experiencing a string of bad luck and unfortunate accidents.

At the center of it all is seventeen-year-old Sarah, a part-time caretaker of the property.

Can Julien and Rachael escape the nightmare of Kings Hollow...or is that just Wishful thinking?

***

A Manhattan power couple survive a tragedy and attempt a fresh start only to be plagued by unexplained and disastrous occurrences...be careful what you wish for.

WISHBONE is a multi-layered thriller incorporating several sub-plots; in the vein of THE SIXTH SENSE, SHUTTER ISLAND and THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT. Mind-bending Horror at it's best, Brooklyn Hudson takes you on a suspenseful roller coaster ride of emotional turmoil and shocking events. ~}} Kohler

....Some Wishes Should Never Be Made

Let's begin with the @BrooklynHudson_ #Author of #Horror #Thriller #Wishbone LIVE TWITTER'VIEW

Dragonheart: Welcome Brooklyn, how are you this evening?

Brooklyn:Very well, TY! And TY for having me. This is a really great idea and I wish you much luck with it. I'm excited!

Dragonheart: Tell us, please, about your current project.

Brooklyn:  I just released a new #ShortStory; a #Psychological #Thriller #Screenplay on #Kindle called "ON CALL"

Dragonheart: What sparked the idea for this project?

Brooklyn: Sometimes technology is creepy and in paranoid moments, I wonder if Big Brother isn't trying to watch us in everything we do. Also, the thought that we are so afraid of the dead when we really should be more afraid of the living.

Dragonheart: Can you tell us how you choose the covers for your books?

Brooklyn: I prefer my covers to look more like movie posters. I was a screenwriter first.

Dragonheart: Music seems to influence a lot of writers, can you tell us what music influences you?

Brooklyn: Anything and everything prior to 1993 (has potential to) inspire me at one time or another. I lean toward Rock and Oldies tho.

Dragonheart: How do you handle writers block?

Brooklyn: I've never experienced "writers block"; only writer's procrastinaton...I remind myself the light bill's coming due.

Dragonheart: Yes, those pesky bills. Who has been your greatest influence?

Brooklyn: #StepehnKing #PeterBenchley #WilliamPeterBlatty #MichaelCrichton #StephenSpielberg #PennyMarshall #NoraEphron #KathyBates

Dragonheart: Do you have a muse?

Brooklyn: Depends on the project. For #WISHBONE it was a friend who inspired the character of “Julien Grenier”.

Dragonheart: What one subject is TABOO in your writing?

Brooklyn: Religion; it bores me. I can't do the "Period Piece" thing either.

Dragonheart: Understood! What do you do when you aren't working?

Brooklyn: I am an admitted Reality Show Junkie. I also watch films, play guitar, read, listen to music, enjoy my fur-babies.

Dragonheart: Tell us, just a little, about your fur-babies, please.

Brooklyn: Christo-fur, a Chihuahua/Jack Russel who is now 17y/o. A stray cat who has claimed me named Meadow, and WILLOW, my
squirrel who lives in the house FREE just like a dog. Notice they are ALL named for characters from #TheSopranos ;)

Willow

Dragonheart: Awesome! If there was one book you wish you'd written, which would it be?

Brooklyn:Gotta say, CUJO; it’s the reason I write today.

Dragonheart: One of my favorites. What is your greatest passion?

Brooklyn:
My GREATEST Passions are probably #Screenwriting and #Directing.

Dragonheart:

Behind the camera too, sounds like fun. What one word best describes you?

Brooklyn: LOL...uh...Tenacious ;)

Dragonheart:
Why tenacious?

Brooklyn: I never do anything small or halfway. All or nothing, Go BOLD OR GO HOME! And, no matter what, I ALWAYS GET BACK ON THE HORSE!

Dragonheart: What do you do to relax?

Brooklyn:Watch a movie or something on my dvr - usually reality show contests...LOL Idol, Project Runway, Face-Off, Top Chef, you name it!

Dragonheart: Is there any one, current, tv show that is can't miss for you?

Brooklyn: #CelebrityApprentice – it’s my ONLY reason to ever hope to be famous. I would play for Senior Dog Rescue. Anyone who dumps an old dog after yrs of loyalty should be left in a BAD nursing home w/out visitors. I'd sooner live in my car.

Dragonheart: Money is no object, where do you go?

Brooklyn: I build my DREAM Cabin in Maine on a lake...with a REALLY LARGE WALL around the property and a camera at the gate.

Dragonheart: Tell us the first two books on your TBR list.

Brooklyn: I just bought the EXORCIST on Kindle; haven't read that in two decades. Also, UNDER THE DOME; still haven't read that.

Dragonheart: Both great books! Can you tell us how you choose character names?

Brooklyn: Ya know, they come to me immediately. I never search or have to think about character names. Somehow they're born WITH names.

Dragonheart: Wow! Tell us one thing we may not know about you.

Brooklyn: Ummmm....I write, produce, and direct Replica-Rock stage shows for Las Vegas Showrooms and Touring Companies.

Dragonheart: If you could change places with one of you characters, would you. Who would it be and why?

Brooklyn: Yes. Man, it would be really interesting to be Sarah....all that power!

Dragonheart: What do you want to be when you grow up?

Brooklyn: Many things, but more than anything, a respected author & film director.

Dragonheart: Final question: Of the 7 Deadly Sins, which one have you committed most recently?

Brooklyn:
GLUTTONY! Have you tasted those Pizza Slider from Pizza Hut yet? Oy! So greasy and disgusting; I'm addicted.

Dragonheart: Sounds yummy, but I'm dieting, so no! :-(  I believe you can do whatever you set your mind to. Thank you for your time, it has been a pleasure.

Brooklyn: The pleasure was all mine. So much fun! TY for this opportunity. Come visit my blog at:
http://brooklynhudson.blogspot.com/

All dressed up and no where to go!
